Position Description

Join Integrative Psych, an innovative mental health practice in Manhattan.

We pride ourselves on our exceptional patient care, collaborative environment, and cutting-edge mental health and wellness approach. Our founder, Ryan Sultan, MD, is a professor and director of the mental health informatics lab at Columbia University-- and is pioneering an integrative approach to mental health and wellness that leverages the strengths of classical mental health treatments such as psychotherapy and psychiatric medications with innovative treatments such as ketamine, physical fitness, mindfulness, and community.

We are actively seeking a skilled and passionate clinician to join our team. In this role, you can work in an academic private clinic that fosters mentorship and lifelong learning. We handle all the administrative tasks, allowing you to focus solely on providing the highest quality care to our patients.

Our practice offers comprehensive services, including traditional psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and alternative treatments such as Ketamine, exercise, and meditation. We believe in a holistic approach to mental health and are committed to helping our patients achieve overall well-being.

As an ideal candidate, you are a clinician with inpatient experience and a personal interest in wellness. You can enjoy the benefits of a caseload of private patients while being part of a larger mental health academic environment. We will match patients to your specific skill set, allowing you to work with diverse populations of adults and children both in-person and remotely.

MUST HAVE high proficiency or expertise in at least one major psychotherapy modality: eg. CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, EMDR, mindfulness and meditation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate and evidence-based mental health care to patients.
  • Conduct initial evaluations and document patient medical histories.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, humanistic therapy, and more.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field through ongoing education and professional development.

Skills:

  • Demonstrated expertise in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passion for wellness and integrative approaches to mental health.

Qualifications:

  • Current Medical Doctor or Nurse Practitioner in New York
  • Graduation from an accredited Psychiatry Program. MD or Nurse Practitioner approved by the NYSED
  • 2-5+ years of experience in Psychiatry preferred.

Full Time Salary: $150,000.00 - $550,000.00 per year, based on number of hours committed
