Position Description

A leading health organization in Peekskill, NY is currently seeking a dedicated, licensed Nurse Practitioner to join their dynamic Primary Care team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in underserved communities while working with a team committed to delivering comprehensive health services.

About the Opportunity:

Shift: Days
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: Standard business
Setting: Community Health Center

Responsibilities:

Taking patient histories, performing physical exams, and administering immunizations
Ordering lab work and performing necessary lab tests
Prescribing treatments for minor illnesses and consulting with physicians as needed
Maintaining accurate documentation and following up on abnormal results
Participating in case conferences and continuing education programs

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Nursing
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in New York State
Strong knowledge of diagnostic and treatment procedures
Competence in delivering health care and preventative education
Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented and organized
Commitment to patient satisfaction and quality care

Desired Skills:

Over 2 years of experience
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Experience in Primary Care setting
