Job Details:
• Locum OB/GYN position providing call coverage (1:6 call ratio) • Coverage needed ASAP on an as-needed basis • Manage low risk pregnancies (history of twins, toxemia, pyelonephritis, etc.) • Handle high risk pregnancies (toxemia, diabetes, class II or higher cardiacs, chronic lung/renal disease) • Perform routine vaginal deliveries and low forceps procedures • Decision-making authority for C-sections when necessary • Manage complicated deliveries including C-sections, breech, multiple births, and abruptions • Perform VBACs and repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations • Conduct surgical gynecology procedures including open procedures • Perform laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures (tubal ligation, LOA's, chromal tubation) • Handle operative/major procedures including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's • Weekend coverage required • Board certification required • Active PA State License or Active IMLC (willingness to obtain PA license) required • BLS and ACLS certifications required • Facility will reimburse for hotel accommodations and mileage at IRS standard rate

Compensation:
