Position Description
Tufts Medical Center/MelroseWakefield Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our expanding Anesthesiology team as a Pre-Admission Testing Nurse Practitioner at our location in Melrose, MA. This is an exciting opportunity to work under the guidance of anesthesiologists, assisting in the screening, evaluation, and preparation of patients undergoing surgery.
This role focuses on providing comprehensive pre-admission testing and coordinating pre-operative care for surgical patients and writing orders as needed.
Candidates with a surgical background and experience in screening patients before surgery are highly desirable for this role.

Pay Range:
$124,800.00 - $156,000.00
This role focuses on providing comprehensive pre-admission testing and coordinating pre-operative care for surgical patients and writing orders as needed.
Candidates with a surgical background and experience in screening patients before surgery are highly desirable for this role.

- Graduate of an accredited and/or approved Nurse Practitioner program
- Current license as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Board certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse practitioner (AGPCNP)
- Prior surgical background and experience within anesthesia is highly preferred
- A minimum of two years of practicing clinically in-person as an advanced practitioner is required
- A team player who is excited to work cooperatively with a wide range of stakeholders and disciplines to champion world class patient satisfaction and support
